Scott Tarbet is the Founder and Managing Partner of Gibson Avenue Capital.

Prior to forming the firm in December 2017, Scott spent 11 years at a middle market private equity firm, Argonne Capital Group / RCG Ventures. Scott served as SVP Director of Acquisitions at RCG/ACG, where he was responsible for identifying, sourcing, and ultimately acquiring value-add single and multi-tenant opportunities on the West Coast and Southeast. In addition to acquiring assets, Scott was responsible for the sale/leaseback, disposition and portfolio lease management of ACG’s single-tenant operating portfolio with the primary task of maximizing real estate value by leveraging ACG’s ownership of various businesses.

Between RCG / ACG and Gibson, Scott has transacted on over $1Bn across 89 deals.

Scott graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in Finance and a minor in Spanish. He lives in Atlanta with his daughters, Poppy, Georgie and son, Rowan.

David Corbin is a Partner of Gibson Avenue Capital.

David joined the firm in 2022 from CP Group, a real estate private equity firm focused on acquiring and operating office and mixed-use assets across the Sunbelt. He led the firm’s acquisition efforts in Atlanta, Nashville, and the Carolinas and was responsible for asset management of select markets. During his time at CP Group, David completed over $900 million in acquisitions totaling of 4.8 million square feet.

Prior to CP Group, he served as a senior analyst for Truist Securities (formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) in their real estate investment banking group where he focused on advising public REITs and private equity funds on M&A and capital raising efforts. He began his career at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps).

David obtained both his B.S. and M.S. Real Estate from the University of Florida. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Claire and daughter, Sloane.

Brett Mufson is President of Fontainebleau Development, a premier real estate development group specializing in large-scale lifestyle developments within the hospitality, retail, residential, and commercial sectors. He also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a vertically integrated, luxury 67-story hotel, gaming, entertainment, and meeting destination conceived by Fontainebleau Development.

Prior to Fontainebleau, Mr. Mufson served as Head of Acquisitions and Capital Markets for Witkoff, a private real estate and development company headquartered in New York City. While at Witkoff, Mr. Mufson successfully led more than $7 billion in transactions dominantly involving Manhattan real estate development and transactions.

Mr. Mufson started his career at Bear Stearns and LoanCore Capital after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania.

Carrington Guy is a highly accomplished commercial real estate executive with a strong track record in running originations, acquisitions, and dispositions for net lease REITs and private funds. With extensive experience in the industry, Carrington co-founded Jera Partners and biproxi, a SAAS tool for middle market real estate.

Carrington's career highlights include hiring and leading the acquisition team at American Realty Capital, which purchased over $20 billion in net lease transactions. Carrington is also extremely well connected in net lease real estate and has executed sale-leasebacks with major corporations, purchased build-to-suit properties on a forward basis from preferred developers, and structured joint ventures, among other accomplishments.

Currently serving on the board of LandProtect and as an advisor to biproxi, Carrington previously served as Executive Vice President of Real Estate at VEREIT, Inc. Carrington participated in every step of the acquisitions process from property identification to transaction negotiation to due diligence to closing. He also served on VEREIT's Investment Committee, which reviews each asset to be acquired or disposed of to ensure alignment with the company's investment objectives.

Throughout his career, Carrington has been involved in over $20 billion of real estate acquisitions ranging from granular, one-off purchases to portfolio transactions to M&A deals. Carrington has sourced sale-leasebacks from corporations such as Amcor, Family Dollar, CVS, Walgreens, Burger King, Kum & Go, QuikTrip, Iron Mountain, Harp’s, etc. He has also purchased build-to-suit properties from preferred developers for corporations such as FedEx, Rubbermaid, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Advance Auto, AutoZone, Walgreens, CVS, Home Depot, Amazon, Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, 3M, Dollar General, Express Scripts, and more.

Nick Hakim is a Co-Founder and Principal of Pioneer Communities. As Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the due diligence process as well as managing the implementation and oversight of capital improvement plans, and day to day management of Pioneer’s portfolio.

Having held various professional roles since a young age, Nick has more than 11 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to co-founding Pioneer, Nick worked at City Urban Realty, a leading commercial real estate investment firm in New York City. During his tenure at City Urban, Nick led the acquisitions team in sourcing, repositioning and operating a wide range of asset classes including land, office, multifamily, mixed-use and ground-up construction.

Nick holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship & Business Management from Quinnipiac University. Nick is a recipient of the Eagle Scout Award, B.S.A.’s highest honor, and is a Licensed New York State Real Estate Salesperson. Nick is a frequent guest at the Society of Exchange Counselors (S.E.C.), the Nation’s premier real estate exchange and investment group.

Born and raised in Upstate New York, Nick is an avid skier, cyclist, and outdoorsman.

Luke DeGrossi is a Co-Founder and Principal of Pioneer Communities. As Chief Acquisitions Officer, he is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and reviewing Pioneer’s pipeline, as well as underwriting and modeling cash flows for potential acquisitions.

Prior to co-founding Pioneer, Luke worked at HKS Capital Partners, New York City’s premiere commercial finance brokerage. As an associate in their capital markets group, Luke was responsible for structuring debt and equity capital across a variety of commercial transactions spanning permanent financing, ground-up construction, bridge, mezzanine, and acquisition financing. Prior to HKS, Luke worked at RPM Development, New Jersey’s leading developer and operator of multifamily affordable housing assets.

Luke holds a B.S. in Finance and International Business and a minor in Spanish from Villanova University. Luke is a Member of the Charlotte Young Professionals Group, an Advisory Board Member for the Villanova School of Business where he mentors undergraduate students pursuing careers in real estate, and he is the Chairman of the Board for the Friends of Valence College Preparatory School, a charter school serving middle school children in Corona, Queens, NY.

In his down time, Luke enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and skiing.
